here’s the recipe:
  • -3/4 cup flour
  • -1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • -1 1/2 tsp matcha powder (I used @naoki_matcha)
  • -1 tsp baking powder
  • -1 tbsp nut butter
  • -1/2 cup applesauce (or 1 mashed banana)
  • -1/2 cup plant-based milk
In a bowl, mix the nut butter, applesauce, and milk. Sift in the remaining (dry) ingredients, then whisk until combined. Let the batter sit for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a greased frying pan on medium-low heat. Spoon batter onto the pan; once bubbles appear, flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.

chocolate almond butter pancakes

  • -3/4 cup wheat / GF flour
  • -3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • -1 tsp baking powder
  • -1 tbsp vegan sugar
  • -1-2 tbsp almond butter
